Home Window Tinting that fixes the hot room
Every house has one — the room nobody uses in the afternoon. Huper Optik and EDGE residential film cuts the heat, the glare and the fading without gutting your view or your natural light.
Five problems, one afternoon of work
Rooms that never cool off
Heat comes through glass, not walls. Film rejects it at the window so upstairs and the west side stop running ten degrees hotter than the thermostat says.
Glare on every screen
TVs, monitors and laptops become usable again, and you stop living behind closed blinds in a house you bought for the windows.
Fading floors and furniture
Up to 99% of UV blocked protects hardwoods, rugs, art, cabinetry and upholstery from bleaching out.
Neighbors seeing in
Daytime privacy film, frosted film and decorative options for bathrooms, sidelights and ground-floor rooms.
Uneven comfort room to room
Balance the house so the family room and the bonus room feel the same at 4pm.
Glass you can't easily replace
Film delivers most of the performance of new high-efficiency glass for a fraction of the cost and none of the demolition.
We come to you, with samples
No guessing off a website. We measure every window, look at which way the glass faces, check the existing glazing, and hold real film samples against your actual glass so you can see the difference before you buy.

Home window film questions
+Will home window film make my rooms dark?
It doesn't have to. Modern Huper Optik ceramic films reject a large amount of heat at high visible light levels, so you can cut the heat and glare while keeping the room bright and the view intact.
+Do you charge for the in-home consultation?
No. Consultations are completely free. We come out, measure the glass, bring physical samples, hold them against your actual windows and answer your questions before you spend anything.
+Will film void my window warranty or break my glass?
Film has to be matched to the glass type. That's exactly what the consultation is for — we look at the glazing, orientation and any existing coatings and specify a film that's appropriate for it.
+Does window film really lower power bills?
Rejecting solar heat means your A/C cycles less on the sunny side of the house. Savings depend on your glass, orientation and how you run the system, but the comfort difference in a hot west-facing room is immediate and obvious.
+Can film stop my floors and furniture from fading?
It blocks up to 99% of UV, which is the single biggest cause of fading in hardwoods, rugs, art and upholstery. It also reduces some of the heat and visible light that contribute to it.
+Can I get privacy without mirrored film?
Yes. We offer daytime privacy films, frosted and decorative films, and neutral low-reflectivity options for HOA neighborhoods where a mirror finish isn't allowed.
We do free in-home consultations throughout Johnston and Wake County — check your town.
