What good tint actually does
Cooler cabin, fast
Ceramic film rejects infrared heat, so the A/C stops fighting the sun and your seats aren't scorching after work.
99% UV rejection
Protects your skin on long drives and keeps your dash, leather and door panels from fading and cracking.
No signal interference
Non-metallic ceramic construction — your phone, GPS, keyless entry and TPMS all work exactly as before.
Privacy & security
Harder to see what's on your seats, and the film helps hold shattered glass together in a break-in or wreck.
Every vehicle type
Cars, trucks, SUVs, vans, work fleets and RVs. Windshield strips and visor bands too.
Usually done same visit
Most full vehicle installs take about two to three hours. We're appointment based, so you're not sitting all day.

Auto tint questions
+What's the difference between dyed, carbon and ceramic tint?
Dyed film is the cheapest and mostly just darkens glass. Carbon adds real heat rejection and won't fade purple. Ceramic — like Autobahn Black Ceramic, i3 and Air Ceramic — rejects the most infrared heat at any given darkness, so you can stay legal and still be cool.
+Will ceramic tint block my phone, GPS or radio signal?
No. Autobahn ceramic films are non-metallic, so they don't interfere with cell, GPS, satellite radio, keyless entry or tire pressure sensors.
+How dark can I legally tint in North Carolina?
North Carolina allows 35% VLT or lighter on front side, back side and rear windows for most vehicles, with a windshield strip down to the AS-1 line. See our NC tint law guide for the details and medical exemption info.
+How long before I can roll my windows down?
Leave them up for about three to five days while the film cures. You may see slight haze or small water pockets during that time — that's normal and clears as it dries.
+Can you remove my old bubbling or purple tint?
Yes. We remove failed film, clean off the old adhesive and re-tint with quality Autobahn film. Removal is quoted with the job.
