Terms of Service
Last updated August 13, 2026
These terms govern your use of xtremeshadesnc.com, operated by Xtreme Shades LLC. By using the site or submitting a request through it, you agree to them.
Use of this website
You may browse and use this site for lawful purposes related to considering or buying our services. Do not attempt to disrupt the site, scrape it at a volume that affects other visitors, misuse our forms, or copy our photography, written content or branding for your own commercial use without written permission.
Quotes, estimates and pricing
Prices, package descriptions and turnaround times shown on this site are indicative only and are not an offer to contract. A binding price is the written quote or estimate we provide for your specific vehicle, home or building after we confirm glass or panel counts, condition, access and film selection. Quotes are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise, and may be revised if the scope, measurements or condition found on site differ from what was described.
Scheduling, deposits and cancellations
Work is by appointment. Where a deposit is requested for materials, ordering conditions and any cancellation terms are stated in your written quote and take precedence over this page. Please let us know as early as possible if you need to reschedule so we can offer the slot to another customer.
Workmanship and manufacturer warranties
Window film, paint protection film and coating products carry warranties issued by their manufacturers, and our installation workmanship is covered as stated in your written quote or invoice. Warranty terms, coverage and duration vary by product and application; the manufacturer's written warranty and your invoice govern. Nothing on this website should be read as extending, replacing or guaranteeing any warranty term.
Condition of glass, paint and surfaces
Existing defects can affect results. Prior film, failed factory seals, cracked or chipped glass, stress-cracked or previously repaired glazing, aftermarket treatments, poorly repaired paint and heavy contamination can all limit what film or coating can achieve, and in some cases make an installation unsuitable. We will tell you what we find before proceeding and will not be responsible for pre-existing conditions we identify and disclose.
Legal compliance for vehicle tint
We install to the tint limits that apply to your vehicle class, and any information on this site about North Carolina tint law is general guidance, not legal advice. Law and enforcement can change. See our North Carolina window tint law guide, and confirm current requirements with the NCDMV or law enforcement if you are unsure. Where a customer requests an installation outside the legal limit under a medical exemption or off-road use, the customer is responsible for compliance.
Content, photos and reviews
Project photographs on this site show our own completed work. Results vary with vehicle, glass type, orientation, film selection and conditions, so images and descriptions are illustrative rather than a guaranteed outcome. If you appear in a photo or would like a photo of your property removed, contact us and we will remove it.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, this website is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from your use of the site or reliance on information published here. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, and nothing here limits your rights under the written contract, invoice or warranty for work we perform for you.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, and the courts serving Johnston County, North Carolina have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from this website.
