The short answer
A new car is the ideal coating candidate because the paint is at its best condition it will ever be in. Coating it before the first automatic wash preserves that finish for years instead of spending money later on correcting damage that never had to happen.
New does not mean flawless
Cars pick up defects in transport and at dealer prep — rail dust, overspray, and swirls from a lot attendant wiping a dusty car with a shop towel. We still decontaminate and do a light correction on most new deliveries, but the work required is a fraction of what a two-year-old car needs.
Best sequence for a new delivery
Straight from the dealer to us, before weather and before any wash. If you are also doing paint protection film, film goes on first and the coating goes over the whole car including the film. Ceramic tint can be done in the same visit so the vehicle only leaves your hands once.

What it saves you later
